RENCONTRE AU BORD DU CHEMIN

Proposition pour l’appel à projet « La Forêt Monumentale ». Rouen.

They were there, frozen, tied to time by vines that would gradually cover them completely. Behind them, a compact mass, a composite aggregate overhung them: a cocoon suspended from the trees swung gently with the winds, thus escaping any rooting.
Planted by the side of the road like the immobile guardians of a tomb, they protected from looters this moving fossil – this remnant of a past or future geological era, but still alive. As it decomposed, this nest of an as yet unknown species underwent its slow metamorphosis.
